Three men were shot in an early-morning altercation Sunday in the parking lot of Jazz and Jokes Lounge on West Lincoln Trail Boulevard in Radcliff - within 100 yards or so of the city police station.

Radcliff Police Department Chief Jeff Cross said two people were flown to University Hospital in Louisville with what he believed to be non-life threatening injuries. One person was struck in the abdomen and another was grazed by a bullet in the head.

Another person managed to drive himself from the parking lot to Hardin Memorial Hospital. Cross said that person received an injury to a lower leg, which also is considered non-life threatening.

Cross said the person shot once in the head "was alert and talking to us at the scene.''

"It was a superficial wound,'' Cross said.

Cross said it appears an altercation inside the lounge may have led to the shooting. He said it was his understanding through a preliminary investigation that none of those injured are from Hardin County.

RPD is seeking at least one suspect in the shooting.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call 270-351-TIPS. All calls to the tipline are anonymous.

The Kentucky State Police is assisting in the investigation.
