Habitat for Humanity selects Bill Swope for Master Builder Award

When the local Habitat for Humanity chapter began building its first homes, Bill Swope occasionally would pick up a hammer and volunteer. He says he came to consider himself to be “a pretty fair carpenter.”

Next week, Hardin County Habitat formally will recognize Swope as its first Master Builder.
