Troy N. Bishop, 30 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Alzater Bishop.

The funeral was Friday at Hill Street Baptist Church in Louisville with burial to follow in Elizabethtown Cemetery.

Linda Anne Graves, 63, of Radcliff, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Mrs. Graves was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the DAV Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandee Woodward.

Denver Oller, 72, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was a native of Grayson County and a member of Yeamen Baptist Church in Grayson County and Ormsby Heights Baptist Church in Louisville. He was a retired plant manager for Pepsi Cola in Elizabethtown.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Dell Thompson Oller; his parents, Lawrence and Annie Duggins Oller; a sister, Bernice Wright; and two brothers, Harold Oller and Hayward Oller.

Dorothy Newton Comer Boone Filiatreau, 97, of Hodgenville, formerly of Bardstown and Howardstown, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hodgenville. She was retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown after serving many years as a nurse’s aide. She was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Holy Cross, the daughter of the late William Arthur and Mary Joseph “Josie” Hagan Newton.

Jeanette “Jeanie” Bruner Phelps, 87, of Franklin, Tenn., died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at her residence.

She was a native of London, Ky., and graduated from Louisville Girls High School. She married Paul Phelps in 1945 and they made their home in Elizabethtown for 58 years, where she retired after 30 years of civil service at Fort Knox. She loved to dance, loved music and enjoyed playing tennis. Jeanie was an avid sports fan.

She was preceded by her husband, F. Paul Phelps; her parents; George S. and Grace Cornn Bruner; and a sister, Inas Otten.

Linda Anne Graves, 63, of Radcliff, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Survivors include her husband, William J. Graves.

Sue Cook Gwynn, 81, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at her residence.

She was a native of Wilson County, Tenn., and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church for more than 50 years, where she was a member of Wesley Circle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Brown Gwynn; her parents, Joseph Lassiter and Claude Johnson Cook; two brothers, Johnson Cook and Lex Cook; and a sister, JoAnne Adams.

Keith Glenn Bratcher, 53, of Leitchfield, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Grant Bratcher; a son, Ryan Bratcher; his parents, Glenn and Laverne Bratcher; and a brother, Kevin Bratcher.

The funeral was Thursday at First Baptist Church Life Center in Leitchfield with burial in Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield handled arrangements.

Shirley Alice Howerson Hood, 60, of Big Clifty, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Lietchfield.

She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Henry David Hood of Big Clifty; two sons, Josiah Hood of Lietchfield and Malachi Hood of Clarkson; a daughter, Clara Naomi Hood of Clarkson; a brother, Ray Howerson of Idaho; and three grandchildren.

The family has chosen cremation. No service is scheduled at this time.
