Mildred Jean New, 81, of Vine Grove, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Mrs. New was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Vine Grove and Order of the Eastern Star in Stephensburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard New; her parents; and two sisters.

Lora Imogene Dixon Cave, 80, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Sonora, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at her home.

She was born Oct. 25, 1931, the only child of the late Elmer and Mabel Dixon. She married at the age of 16 to Rondell Cave and they had four children, Karen Mahaffey (Paul Schroeder), Jerry Cave (Debbie), Lora Wade (Jeff) and Ted Alan Cave.

Ova Justice, 95, of Louisville, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Springhurst Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born Sept. 18, 1916, in Pike County to the late John and Minerva Robinson Blanton. She was a homemaker and teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Pikeville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Mumford and Reapard Arnold justice; a son, Arnold Justice Jr.; and seven brothers and sisters.

Mary Lou Bradley, 63, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown.

She was born May 15, 1948, in Wax to Roy and Elsie (Clemons) Bradley. She was a Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bill Blackwood Jr.; and six brothers and sisters.

Bradley Alan Burnett Sr., 47, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at his residence.

A native of Hardin County, he was a member of Stephensburg United Methodist Church, a maintenance supervisor at Clayton Homes and he loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Carter Burnett; a brother, Bruce Burnett; and a sister, Beth Burnett.

Jerry N. Clemons, 72, of Clarkson, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 27, 1939, he was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He retired from civil service at Fort Knox.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Waterman; and his parents, Shelby and Flossie Sims Clemons.

Archie R. Bishop, 64, of Garfield, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bishop; and six children, Richard Bishop Sr., Rita Johnson, Archie Bishop, Charlie Bishop, Carrie Bushong and Kim Cook.

The funeral was Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Clarence “Sonny” Applegate II, 57, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, at the VA Hospital in Phoenix.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, Master Sgt. Clarence E. Applegate; and a sister, Cheryl Applegate Dyer.

He is survived by his mother, Annabelle Worcester, a sister, Debi Reichert, and a brother, Clay Applegate, all of Radcliff; a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Charlie Fletcher of Phoenix; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward Lee Logsdon, 71, of Radcliff, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at North Hardin Health & Rehabilitation Center.

He is survived by a brother, Roger Logsdon of Shepherdsville.

Cremation was chosen by the family.
