David Alan Cisco, 53, of Vine Grove, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at his home.

He was a graduate of North Hardin High School, an avid University of Kentucky fan and retired from civil service after 19 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Noel Cisco.

Rosetta Cook, 89, of Leitchfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include three daughters, Audrey Willis, Marcella Logsdon and Roxanna Wood.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. CST Sunday at New Freedom Church with burial in New Freedom Cemetery.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST Saturday at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home in Leitchfield and continues at 9 a.m. Sunday at the church.

Edward Murl “Mr. Ed” Madison, 87, of Rocky Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, in Bowling Green.

Survivors include his wife, Violet Wells Madison; and two daughters, Doris Emerson and Judy Besser.

The funeral was Saturday at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel in Park City with burial in Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Virginia Gibson, 84, of Clarkson, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Grayson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 25, 1926. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and she was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Gibson; and her parents, Willie and Maggie Shartzer Gragson.

Survivors include two sons, Jr. Gibson of Clarkson and Carroll Gibson of Leitchfield; a daughter, Debbie Elmore of Leitchfield; three grandchildren, Kim, Tammy and Todd; four stepgrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Shirley Jane Graham, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was the former Shirley Jane Garvin, a native of New Albany, Ind. She was a former press operator for Elizabethtown Sportswear and attended the Church of God Church in Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Graham Sr.; a daughter, Shirley “Bubbles” Durham; a granddaughter, Daria Graham; a brother, Junie Garvin; and a sister, Mary Ann Spellman.

Henry Donald Fullen, 79, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Kensington Manor.

He was a native of Ripley, Tenn., and a member of College Heights United Methodist Church. He retired from the U.S. Army after 27 years, having served during Vietnam, and he was a retired bus driver with Hardin County Schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmage and Eddie Lou Fullen; and two brothers, Tommy Dewitt and Billy Gene Fullen.

Leroy Poynter, 74, of Horse Cave, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Poynter; and a stepdaughter, Virginia Sturgeon.

The funeral was Friday at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville with burial in Cave City Cemetery in Cave City.

Josh Ervin Daniel Henken, 12, of Custer, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011.

Survivors include his father and mother, Bill and Vanessa Henken; and a brother, Shane Henken.

The funeral was Friday, Jan. 21, at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington with burial in Custer Cemetery.

Alan D. “Deanie” Ash, 76, of Glendale, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He was a native of Glendale and a member of Glendale Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Bussman/Cooper Industries after 40 years of employment.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Rose Lee Berry Ash; one sister, Mary Fuller; and a brother, Roy Russell.
