The Appraisal Foundation has appointed Rick Baumgardner of Elizabethtown as chairman of the Appraisal Practices Board, a national panel operated by the professional trade association which serves the United States and Canada. The Appraisal Foundation sets the Congressionally authorized standards and qualifications for real estate appraisers.

Fort Knox Federal Credit Union announced the appointment of Donna B. Karr as the new branch manager at its Ring Road office in Elizabethtown. Karr is succeeding Darlene Chenault, who is retiring from the credit union after 37 years.
Karr will be responsible for operations, member service and initial loan processing at the branch.
