  • Nolin RECC members making a difference

    Nolin RECC members have voluntarily contributed thousands of dollars in a special account to help their community. These dollars began as small change through the Operation Round-Up (ORU) program at Nolin. Since implementing ORU in June 2006, more than $50,000 has been donated to projects/agencies in our communities.

  • Focus on finance: Need a tax deduction now? Set up a charitable remainder trust

    If you are in one of the higher tax brackets and seek a substantial tax deduction now, you may want to consider establishing a charitable remainder trust.   • Bradshaw joins ICON Engineering & Inspection Services

    Timothy J. Bradshaw, PE, has joined ICON Engineering & Inspection Services, PLLC as a senior structural engineer and project manager. Bradshaw is a licensed professional engineer with more than 15 years of experience as a consulting engineer in the construction industry, and holds both a bachelor of science and master of engineering degree in civil engineering from the Speed Scientific School at the University of Louisville.

    First Citizens Bank has been awarded a five-star rating from BauerFinancial, Inc., a bank-rating firm in Coral Gables, Fla. The rating, which is the highest possible, indicates that BauerFinancial considers the bank to be one of the strongest in the nation. Among the factors evaluated are capital adequacy, loan delinquency levels, and profitability.
