E’town man indicted for rape of child

An Elizabethtown man has been indicted for raping a child.

According to court records, Justin A. Harnett, 30, was indicted on first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse. The victim was younger than 12 years old on both counts.

Harnett committed the offenses on more than two occasions between August 2013 and July 2017, the indictment said.

Elizabethtown Police arrested Harnett in July after he was caught undressed in the presence of a child, according to the arrest citation. The child also was partially undressed.

At the time of his arrest, police charged Harnett with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy. According to the arrest citation, he admitted to the accusations.

First-degree rape is a class A felony. If convicted, Harnett could face 20 to 50 years or life in prision. First-degree sexual abuse is a class C felony, and if convicted, Harnett could face five to 10 years in prison.

Harnett currently is lodged at the Hardin County Detention Center in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond.

• Ricky Brewer, 28, Louisville, trafficking in a controlled substance – more than two grams methamphetamine, while in possession of a firearm; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – schedule I, less than two grams of heroin, while in possession of a firearm; two counts of receiving stolen property — firearm; possession of handgun by a convicted felon; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment; possession of drug paraphernalia; resisting arrest; first-degree fleeing and evading police; tampering with physical evidence; second-degree fleeing and/or evading; disregarding a stop sign; disregarding a traffic control device; first-degree persistent felony offender.

• Justin Daniel Adkins, 20, Louisville, two counts of third-degree burglary; two counts of theft by unlawful taking, more than $500; two counts of second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor; first-degree criminal mischief; second-degree criminal mischief.

• Teri Smith, 50, Owensville, Indiana, three counts of theft of identity of another.

• Jordan Terry, 31, Louisville, first-degree stalking.

• Michael White, 49, Elizabethtown, third offense operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants, aggravated; leaving the scene or failure to stop and render aid; four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

• Steven Dowell, 35, Radcliff, possession of drug paraphernalia; first-degree trafficking controlled substance — two grams of more methamphetamine; first-degree persistent felony offender.

• Ian Goodman, 21, Brandenburg, first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance — less than two grams of methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; second-degree persistent felony offender.

• Jason Sweet, 38, Hardin County, first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance — two grams of more methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana.

• John Miller, 23, Brandenburg, first-degree possession of a controlled substance — heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia; theft by deception less than $500.

• Jessica Harris, 23, Shepherdsville, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; third-degree possession of a controlled substance — Xanax; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana.

• Rebekah Lewis, 23, Elizabethtown, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument; first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Katlin Conder, 19, Elizabethtown, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument; first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Dennis Satterfield, 26, Elizabethtown, tampering with physical evidence; first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; second offense driving on a DUI suspended license; rear license plate not illuminated.

• Andres Reyes, 18, Elizabethtown, trafficking in marijuana less than five ounces – gun enhanced; two counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon; five counts of receiving stolen firearms; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; first-degree possession of controlled substance — hydrocodone; theft of controlled substance less than $500; receiving stolen property less than $500.

• Adam Johnson, 27, Vine Grove, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; no or expired registration receipt; nfailure to or improper signal; insufficient headlamps.

• Donald Hagler, 41, Radcliff, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a synthetic drug; possession of marijuana; second-degree assault.

• Linda Hagler, 52, Radcliff, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a synthetic drug; possession of marijuana; second-degree assault.

• James Boyd, 38, Elizabethtown, first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle; first offense operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants, aggravating circumstances; resisting arrest; careless driving.

• Kerry Pierce, 40, Sonora, fourth offense operating a motor vehicle under influence of intoxicants; improper parking or blocking a traveled portion of highway; license to be in possession; failure to notify address change to department of transportation.

• Mica Prince, 28, Radcliff, first-degree criminal mischief.

• Gregory Kersey, 55, Radcliff, first-degree wanton endangerment.

• Brandon Caple, 30, Radcliff, first-degree promoting contraband; tampering with physical evidence; third-degree possession of controlled substance – Xanax; public intoxication of a controlled substance.

• Carl McDonald, 31, Shepherdsville, tampering with physical evidence; first-degree possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine; third-degree assault; second-degree fleeing or evading police; first-degree possession of a controlled substance – Hydrocodone.

• Anna Gamble, 31, Hardin County, first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle; first offense operating a motor vehicle under influence of intoxicants; speeding more than 26 mph over speed limit; operating on a suspended operator’s license; disregarding a traffic control device; reckless driving; five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

• Alpintino Johnson, 20, Louisville, carrying a concealed deadly weapon; trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces; first-degree promoting contraband.
