Radcliff man indicted for sexual assault at gunpoint

FITZGERALD

A Radcliff man arrested in late March on charges he assaulted a woman and at gunpoint forced her to perform a sex act has been indicted by a Hardin County grand jury.

Melchizedek Fitz­ger­ald, 24, was indicted for first-degree sodomy – domestic violence; first-degree wanton end­ang­erment and fourth-degree assault – dom­estic violence with minor injury.

According to an arrest citation, while operating a vehicle on U.S. 62, Fitzgerald struck the woman several times with his hand, causing bruising and pain to her face and abdomen.

The citation said Fitzgerald also chambered a bullet in his handgun, point­ed the weapon at the woman and shortly after told her to perform oral sex.

He has been lodged since March 30 in lieu of a $50,000 cash bond since in the Hardin County Detention Center.

• Anthony Camaddu, 28, Radcliff, possession of drug paraphernalia; first­-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; first­-degree promoting contraband; tampering with physical evidence.

• Curtis Jones, 32, Elizabethtown, poss­ession of drug paraphernalia; first­-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; rec­eiving stolen property, handgun.

• Walter Keplinger, 55, Elizabeth­town, possession of a handgun by a con­vic­ted felon; tampering with physical evidence.

• Zilania Perry, 37, Elizabethtown, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; tampering with physical evidence.

• Timothy Salmon, 39, Elizabethtown, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; first-degree bail jumping.

• Terrell Holmes, 22, Louisville, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

• Isaac Young, 18, Elizabethtown, third-degree burglary; possession of burglary tools; theft by unlawful taking more than $500.

• Joey Stull, 47, Vine Grove, first off­ense driving under the influence of intoxicants; first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle.

• Richard Leyk, 36, Cecilia, fourth offense driving under the influence of intoxicants; disregarding a traffic control device; first-degree wanton endangerment; second-degree persistent felony offender.

• Shannon Hunter, 45, Branden­burg, second-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

The following people accepted rocket docket plea agreements for felony charges:
