Two Elizabethtown men are in custody following a Tuesday morning shooting on Hamilton Street in Radcliff that left one man with four gunshot wounds, according to arrest citations.
Paris Bell, 23, and Jordan Morgan, 18, are charged with felonies and were arrested following about five hours of interviews at the Radcliff Police Department.
According to Morgan’s arrest citation, he and Ashton Nally, 19, of Vine Grove, used a handgun in a robbery Tuesday.
Nally allegedly was shot four times by Bell. Morgan admitted to police during his interrogation he and Nally threatened to use a handgun in a theft, according to the arrest report.
Morgan was charged with first-degree robbery, a Class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
Nally was airlifted from the parking lot of Appliance Parts of Radcliff off South Dixie Boulevard to University Hospital in Louisville. One of the gunshots entered Nally’s chest, according to a citation. He has not been charged.
Radcliff police taped off a home in the 100 block of Hamilton Street and another residence on Jefferson Street where Nally was found.
Bell reportedly admitted to shooting Nally in a recorded interview with police, the citation read.
Two of Bell’s shots also went toward the Hamilton Street residence that was occupied with two people. Bell was found with firearms, according to the citation.
He is charged with first-degree assault, a Class B felony, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison, if convicted.
Both men are expected to appear today in Hardin District Court. The investigation is ongoing.
