Hardin County Schools is taking applications for its 2019 Class of Distinguished Alumni.

Those interested in nominating someone for the award can go to the school district’s website, www.hardin.k12.ky.us. The link to the nomination form is on the front page under “Quick Links” and “Alumni.”

“This is one of our best events each year,” district Superintendent Teresa Morgan said in a news release. “I encourage everyone who has a connection to Hardin County Schools to nominate an HCS alum that has excelled in his or her chosen profession or has made outstanding contributions to his or her community. Our alums are important to us and this is a fantastic way to honor them.”

The deadline for nominations is July 12.

Nominees must have graduated from any of the current or former high schools in Hardin County Schools no less than five years ago (2014).

The district will honor the class Sept. 5 in Nannette S. Johnston Hall at the Hardin County Schools Early College and Career Center.
