Seventy-six boys and girls are hard at work this week inventing new technology by upcycling goods.
The young inventors met for an edcuational program Wednesday known as Camp Invention at the G.C. Burkhead Elementary School. The camp incorporates science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, practices into fun activities for kids who are in grades one through 6.
Hardin County Schools high schoolers will be able to explore another new career pathway at the Early College and Career Center next fall. In addition to the newly added education pathway, students may opt for energy management.
