    Ky. 210 is closed in LaRue County near the Green County line because of a crash involving an off-duty Kentucky State Police trooper.

    The Transportation Cabinet's District 4 highway office said a detour is in effect via Ky. 1192 and East Bailey Road. The wreck is between these intersections.

  • Man charged for abuse of his son

    Daniel Cox has been charged with a felony count of criminal abuse of a child under the age of 12. The alleged victim is his 4-month-old son.

    Cox, 35, of Radcliff, was booked into the Hardin County Detention Center at 2:38 a.m., just hours after he was found in Louisville by Radcliff Police.

    The Central Hardin High School marching band will hold its annual mattress drive Sunday at the high school.

    The sale of new, name-brand mattresses will be held in the gymnasium from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All money raised will go toward the band.

    Floor models will be on display in the gym as well.

    A Radcliff man wanted by police for questioning after he left his injured 4-month-old son in the driveway of the child's mother's home Thursday night was located just before 11 p.m. in Louisville.

    RPD Capt. Willie Wells said Daniel Cox was found in Louisville in his 1998 gold Mercury Marquis.
