Erik Buggeland, charged in the murder of his parents in their Elizabethtown home last year, has been ruled competent to stand trial by a local judge.
Judge Ken Howard ruled Wednesday that Buggeland is fit to stand trial. Howard said Buggeland's behavior during recent court hearings "is a deliberate act to disrupt judicial proceedings.''
Buggeland is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.
See Sunday's edition of The News-Enterprise for more details on the ruling.
