Jalen Vaughn Fleming, 20, is scheduled for trail at 9 a.m. June 3 for second-degree assault — domestic violence and terroristic threatening.
Hardin County Schools’ Early College and Career Center will be the home of the 2015 VEX Robotics State Championships Saturday.
Thirty-two of the top high school and middle school teams will compete. The doors open at 8 a.m. and the competition starts at 10 a.m.
This will be the third VEX Robotics competition EC3 has hosted this school year.
United Way of Central Kentucky has reached a new record in its annual campaign this year to benefit and ultimately decrease area poverty.
Executive Director Megan Stith announced before a crowd of hundreds at the monthly Hardin County Chamber of Commerce meeting Wednesday the total for its 2014 campaign: $1,277,637.
