New postmaster ‘honored to serve’

CORBIN

Kristina Marie Corbin has been selected to serve as Rineyville’s 16th postmaster.

“I am thrilled and honored to serve the Rineyville community as postmaster,” she said in a United States Postal Service news release. “This is a life’s dream come true for me.”

Corbin joined USPS in 2011 as a clerk in her hometown of Campbellsville. Since then, she has served in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as customer service supervisor in Louisville.

The public is invited to attend Corbin’s official installation ceremony at noon Feb. 8. The ceremony is at at The Old Farmhouse, 66 Osborne Lane, Rineyville. Doug Caswell, manager of post office operations, will administer the oath of office.

A meet-and-great reception immediately follows the ceremony.
