Some streets in downtown Elizabethtown will be closed today for the new BBQ, Blues and Bikes event.

According to the Elizabethtown Police Department, West Dixie Avenue will be closed from North Miles Street to the Public Square.

The square will remain open for traffic, allowing motorists of Dixie to detour along Main Street to Poplar Street and then taking Miles back to Dixie. Another alternative is to go south on Main to College Street and turn onto Miles to reach Dixie.
