HCS approves 4 percent tax revenue increase

In a 3-2 vote, Hardin County Schools Board of education approved a 4 percent tax revenue increase Thursday night for the 2015-16 school year.

The board approved a tax rate of 62.9 cents per $100 of real estate property and a personal property tax rate of 62.9 cents per $100 of property in a special meeting.
