Waters from the Nolin River flood a field Thursday morning between Sonora and Glendale. Heavy rains on Wednesday and melting snow cause some flooding. With a large snowfall on Thursday, many other areas come be flooded as it melts.
Flooding may be a concern moving forward

With warmer temperatures expected by the weekend, flooding may pose a threat as Thursday’s heavy snowfall melts off.

According to Mark Adams of the Fort Knox Weather Center, temperatures could reach 45 degrees by Sunday, initiating the melt down. Temperatures could rise above 60 degrees by mid-week.
