  • E’town’s Horn receives Emmy nod

    Elizabethtown’s Stacy Horn is a successful costume supervisor in Hollywood and now can add Emmy nominee to her list of accomplishments.

    She is nominated for her work as costume supervisor for AMC’s hit show “Mad Men.”

    Horn joined the “Mad Men” team in October of 2013 and was surprised to hear about the nomination.

  • Fiscal Court accepts bid for solid waste franchise

    Hardin Fiscal Court unanimously accepted two bids Tuesday in its regular meeting for the county’s franchise for solid waste collection and for the construction of two bridges.

  • Subpoena for victim‘s insurance records denied in murder case

    A Hodgenville man charged with two counts of murder after he struck and killed an Elizabethtown couple last August appeared Tuesday in Hardin Cir­cuit Court.

    The hearing for Earl Dale Richardson, 47, was to address a motion to reject a subpoena for insurance records for victim Johnie M. Dennis entered by Richardson’s attorney, public defender Heather Stroutman.
