    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Barry and Pamela Johnson and Lisa and Joseph Coombs, all of Elizabethtown. She is a 2002 graduate of Central Hardin High School and is enrolled at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College pursuing a degree in business management.

    The prospective groom is the son of Kevin and Cindy Glass of Upton. He is employed at Nash Mechanical.

  • Jackson announces birth of sister, Harper Grace

    Jackson Bickett of Elizabethtown announces the birth of a sister, Harper Grace Bickett, on Nov. 11, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

    Parents are Carissa and Luke Bickett of Elizabethtown.

    Grandparents are Dave and Violet Knoop of Rineyville, Monica Bickett of Corydon, Ind., and Jery Bickett of Elizabethtown.

    Douglas and Kimberly Gibson of Glendale and Ronnie and Annetta Payton of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Bethany Aleece Gibson of Glendale and Kevin Dewayne Payton of Elizabethtown.
