    Southland Community Center is looking for the next local star. Talented musicians who want to be on stage — and maybe win $1,000 while they’re at it — are invited to audition to see if they can become the first Southland Idol.

    The competition spawned from a desire to give local people something fun to do, according to Sherry Holland, manager at Southland Community Center in Radcliff.
