    ATKINSON. Army Sgt. 1st Class Zachary S. Atkinson has been inducted into the Sgt. Audie L. Murphy Club, a club formed in 1986 in honor of the Army’s World War II most decorated combat soldier, Audie Leon Murphy. Atkinson, a recruiting station commander with nine years of military service, is assigned to the Columbus Army Recruiting Battalion in Newark, Ohio. He is the son of Kathy Rand of Vandalia, Ohio, and Dan Atkinson of Dayton, Ohio. His wife, Melissa, is the daughter of Tim and Debbie Stoll of Elizabethtown.
