  • Reeds celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

     

    Walter and Janet “George” Reed of Rineyville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m., May 16, 2010, at Memorial United Methodist Church, 631 N. Miles St., Elizabethtown.

    They were married by the Rev. Ted Burkhalter.

    Mr. Reed is retired from AGC Automotive and is a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

    Mrs. Reed is a homemaker and is also a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

    They have one child, DeWayne Reed of Elizabethtown.

    All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

    The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Eugenia and William Dale Butler of Sonora. She is a 2003 graduate of Central Hardin High School and a 2008 graduate of Western Kentucky University where she majored in elementary education. She is a substitute teacher for Hardin County Schools.
