  • Rudds to be sworn in as citizens

    MR. AND MRS. RUDD

     

    Ron and Millie Rudd, both 79, of Howevalley will be sworn in as United States Citizens today, Oct. 30, at the Federal Building in Louisville. They are originally from England. They are members of the Howevalley Ruritan Club and Rough Creek Baptist Church.

    A pot luck meal will be served in their honor at Rough Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, hosted by the Country Critter Homemakers Club where Millie is a member.

    All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

    Mary E. Douthitt, 82, of Frankfort, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009.

    The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield.
