LOUISVILLE — A federal grand jury in Louisville indicted a former postal employee on charges of mail theft Wednesday, according to U.S. Attorney Candace Hill.
According to a news release, 44-year-old Louisville postal employee Joseph Bourg stole drugs, DVDs, trading cards and other items from packages and letters being handled by the U.S. Postal Service.
Hill said detectives found packages at Bourg’s home and claims he admitted some thefts.
Bourg is scheduled for arraignment Dec. 22.
