    Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Powell of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Devon Dannielle Powell, to Houston Ray Logsdon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Logsdon of Elizabethtown and the late Margie Logsdon.

    The wedding is at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at LaRue County Sportsman’s Lake in Hodgenville with a reception to follow the ceremony.

    Julia Morris has donated her hair to Locks of Love for the second time. It took her three years to grow it out after her first donation. Julia is 10 years old and an honor roll student at Lakewood Elementary. Her hair was cut by Teresa Walter and Sheer Style Salon.

    The Elizabethtown Tennis Commission’s annual E’town Youth Tournament is set for Saturday at the University Drive Park Tennis Courts.

    The six-division event – boys’ 18-under, girls’ 16-under, boys’ 14-under, girls’ 14-under, boys’ 12-under and girls’ 12-under – starts with eight matches at 9 a.m. There are 23 competitors in the mostly single-elimination tournament, which features consolation brackets for boys’ 12-under and girls’ 14-under.

    Richard Earl Baughman

    Richard Earl Baughman, 90, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

    A native of Hardin County, he was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church and an ordained deacon for 55 years. He also was a member of the Hardin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for 25 years and he had the most sessions — 2,220 — in Cardiac Rehab at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

    He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a meat cutter at Kroger for 30 years.

    Dana and Pam Wolford of Rineyville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Bobbie Jo Wolford of Rineyville, to Ronny Noblett of Leitchfield, son of the late Charles Noblett Jr. and Helena Noblett of Leitchfield.

    The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in elementary education.

    The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of University of Kentucky with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is a design project engineer at Campbell Hausfeld.
