    The Spring Fling homeless veteran’s poker run was a big success despite the unseasonably low temperature. More than 300 motorcycles with passengers participated in this year’s event raising $12,000 to benefit Interlink Counseling Services homeless veteran’s shelter. This has been a record event.

    Holly Renee Lewis and Lance Lemmonds were married April 2, 2010, in a private sunset ceremony in the Venus Garden at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The couple exchanged rings and performed their own marriage vows.

    The bride is the daughter of G.T. and Peggy Lewis of Rineyville. The groom is the son of Debbie and Carl Lemmonds of Searcy, Ark.

    The couple spent their honeymoon in Las Vegas. Friends and family celebrated the couple’s nuptials at an open house brunch on April 10 at the Brown-Pusey House in Elizabethtown.
