HARDIN COUNTY – A recent decision by the Fiscal Court to amend a mandatory trash collection fee ordinance has left some property owners in the county irate.

An angry group of landlords confronted the Fiscal Court during its working meeting Tuesday, claiming the amended ordinance puts an unfair burden on the backs of landlords who now must pay the collection fee, a change to the original ordinance which originally put the burden of payment on the tenants.
