  • Girl Scouts present donation to SpringHaven

    Through the generous support of the community, Girl Scout Troop No. 1037 of Elizabethtown received enough in donations to be able to donate 36 cases, or 432 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to SpringHaven Domestic Violence shelter.   • Wiseman-Frazier

    Mr and Mrs. Jerry Wiseman of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and fourthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelly Beth Wiseman, to Robert Gene Frazier, son of Gene Frazier of Bardstown and Sharon Troutman of Shepherdsville.

    The bride-to-be is a graduate of Central Hardin High School and is employed at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

    The prospective groom is a graduate of On Fire Chrisitan Academy and is employed at Publishers Printing Company.

    The wedding is at 4 p.m. July 10 with a reception to follow.

     

  • Erhardts to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

     

    Mr. and Mrs. James R. Erhardt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday. Jim and Gerry were married April 26, 1960, at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove.

     

  • Gore celebrates 90th birthday

     

    Della Gore celebrated her 90th birthday on April 21, 2010, with her Sunday school class at Cecilia Baptist Church. They enjoyed a soup and sandwich lunch, and she received many cards, gifts and flowers. She said that she was so thankful for all her friends and family.

     

  • Millers celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

     

    Stanley R. Miller and Dora “Vance” Miller will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at 2 p.m., June 6, 2010, with a reception at Sonora United Methodist Church.

    The reception will be hosted by their children, Timothy and Miranda Miller, Kathy and Tracy White, Kevin and Stephanie Miller and Stacy and Stephen Lucas.

    All friends and relatives are invited.

    They request no gifts.
