    FORT KNOX – The weather Friday morning couldn’t have been more appropriate for reflection. It almost represented the national mindset.

    At Ground Zero, the Pentagon and a Pennsylvania field where thousands died in terror attacks eight years earlier, rain poured like tears as survivors and patriots gathered for 9/11 memorial ceremonies.

  • Toddler reunited with parents

    ELIZABETHTOWN

     

    A child found wandering Poplar Street around noon Friday was reunited with his parents shortly after 2 p.m. The boy left the home after his father fell asleep and his mother had gone out to get some food, police said.

    The 2-year-old boy was found wandering along West Poplar Street, near E’town Laundry around noon Friday.

  • PREP VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: E'town downs Fort Knox (09/11)

    The News-Enterprise Senior Bevan Burch went 19-for-19 at the service line with eight aces to lead the homestanding Elizabethtown Lady Panthers to a 25-14, 25-22 win over 15th District rival Fort Knox on Thursday. Burch also had seven kills, while senior Desire’ Ford and junior Denisha Nichols combined for 12 kills. Senior Kelly Morgan added 17 assists and one kill for the Lady
