    Bluford Coogle, 54, of Eastview, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. 

    He was a native of Hardin County and an avid equestrian. He was a member of the Kentucky Draft Horse Association.

    Bluford was preceded in death by his parents, Park and Essie (Givans) Coogle; and a sister, Noma Hay.

    He was retired from the United States Marine Corps.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Caudill.

    Hattie Marie Adams

    Hattie Marie Adams, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at Woodland Terrace Health Care Facility.

    She was a native of Letcher County, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Amaranth. She was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Sandy and Sarah Jane Craft Adams; three brothers, Owen Adams, Bert Adams and Bill Adams; and two sisters, Della Dexheimer and Kelsie English.
