ELIZABETHTOWN – Torrential rains have pounded parts of the Midwest this past year, leading to flooding in several states.

In the midst of the chaos, families hoped to salvage some of their belongings, possibly even the home.

But one unwelcome visitor likes take homes for itself: mold.
