    The following marriage dissolutions have been granted in Hardin Circuit Court in Elizabethtown.

    Patrick Crowe, 30, and Deborah Barton, 40, both of Elizabethtown. Married five years.

    The following misdemeanor cases are found in Hardin District Court Division I in Elizabethtown. KAPS stands for Kentucky Alternative Programs. Totals include court costs and/or public advocacy fees. Birth year is in parenthesis.

    Tara Lynn Hoy (1978). Endangering the welfare of a minor (three counts). One hundred eighty days in jail, serve one day, balance probated for two years on conditions in the order. Total $210.

  • Cub Scouts achieve Arrow of Light award

    Nine young men from Pack 134 in Vine Grove recently achieved the Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts. The highest award in Cub Scouts is The Arrow of Light, earned by Webelos who have been active participants in their den and are ready to join a Boy Scout troop. The Arrow of Light is equivalent to the Boy Scouts’ top award, Eagle Scout.

  • Club has November meeting

    The Northern Hardin County Democratic Woman’s Club met in November at Colvin Community Center; refreshments were served by club volunteers.
    First vice president Maria Batistoni presented Rose Mack with a certificate recognizing her as the Outstanding Democratic Woman for the month of November.  
    Retired colonel and former state representative Mike Weaver was the featured speaker. He spoke on veterans and their place in this country’s history.
