    Don’t overlook local hospital

    I have lived in Elizabethtown for nearly four years after moving from California. Five weeks ago I had both of my knees replaced. The most common question I get asked is, “Where did you get this done?” as if one needed to leave E’town to get the best treatment.

    After just four weeks I was able to take my first steps without the use of a cane or any other device.

    Does that mean a team that goes 25-4 and loses in the region semifinals had a bad season?

  • Shootout leaves man dead in Radcliff

    RADCLIFF — A shootout Wednesday night in Radcliff’s Yarwood Mobile Home Park left one male resident dead and the fate of another to be decided by a grand jury sometime in the future.

    Radcliff Police Department spokesman Bryce Shumate said police received a report of shots fired near Yarwood Mobile Home Park’s Lot 2 at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday.
