HARDIN COUNTY — If things these days seem out of balance — oh, like the economy or civility — then take a breath: Tuesday is the autumnal equinox.
The whole world at 5:18 p.m. will cease to be cockeyed, at least in relation to the sun. The amount of daylight will be the same as that of night.
You even can balance an egg on end. (OK, you can do that on days other than an equinox, but what fun is that?)
