    Grace Bandy

    Grace Bandy, 69, of Irvington, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010.

    She is survived by her children, Donna Henderson, Kim Doner, Laura Bandy, Keith Bandy and Kevin Bandy.

    The funeral is at 1 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Lincoln Trail Christian Church in Irvington

    Visitation is 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. EDT Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington and after 9 a.m. EDT Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington.

    Blanche Nell Rittenberry Beck

    Blanche Nell Rittenberry Beck, 94, of Glendale, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

    She was a native of Decatur, Ala., and had retired after 33 years from Seagrams Distillery.

    She was preceded in death by two children, Edward Lewis Boyd and Joseph Logan Boyd; her parents, Joseph Baxter and Katie Hazelip Rittenberry; five siblings, Harvey Rittenberry, Margaret Gullett, Ruth Humphrey, William Rittenberry and Cecil Rittenberry; and four grandchildren.

    Tournament host Bardstown Bethlehem scored on a penalty kick 15 minutes in, and the rout was on.

    Bethlehem scored four more goals en route to a 5-0 win over LaRue County in the 9th District Tournament semifinals at Lally Field in Bardstown.

    “Once they got that penalty kick, our heads went down. But we held them the rest of the game,” said LaRue County coach Chuck Holloway. “We just could not recover.”
