  • Games Day fun

    Games Day fun

    The Woman’s Club of Elizabethtown held a Games Day recently at the Brown-Pusey House and had 29 in attendance. Many game tables were set up and filled for most of the day. A salad lunch was served at noon. The salads were provided by club members as well as Derby pies for dessert. Everyone had a great time playing games and socializing. Ann Haszard and Jean Pagel are pictured playing cards with friends.

    Susan Kathleen Baker Susan Kathleen Baker, 93, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at her residence. She was born on Nov. 15, 1915, in Hopkins County. She graduated from Earlington High School as the valedictorian and later graduated from beauty school and was a hairdresser in Michigan for 20 years. She enjoyed her church and class at Severns Valley Baptist Church.
