    The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of John Hardin High School. She attended the University of Louisville and in 2010 graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa with a Bachelors of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic. She works for Eriksen Chiropractic in Bardstown.

    Ernest Dale and Loretta Seay Ogden of Radcliff celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2011 with a renewal of their vows and a reception at Stovall United Methodist Church.

    They were married April 25, 1961 in Jeffersonville, Ind.

    Mr. Ogden is retired from the U.S. Army and is a member of Stovall United Methodist Church.

    Mrs. Ogden is a retired bookkeeper and is a member of Stovall United Methodist Church.

    Bradley and Maxine Warren French of Hodgenville will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m., May 1, 2011, at The Community Room on the square in Hodgenville.

    They were married May 7, 1945 by the Rev. L.B. Cantrell.

    Mr. French is retired from General Electric and is a member of Nolynn Baptist Church.

    Mrs. French is a homemaker and also a member of Nolynn Baptist Church.

  • Akerses celebrate 50th anniversary

    Larry and Alice Jenkins Akers of Sonora will celebrate their 50th anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. April 30, at First Baptist Church of Sonora.

    They were married April 29, 1961, at First Baptist Church of Sonora by the Rev. Archie Allison.

    Mr. Akers is retired from Trinity Trucking, and Mrs. Akers is a homemaker. They are members of First Baptist Church of Sonora.

    They have three children, Ryan Akers and Alicia Reeves, both of Sonora, and Jay Akers of Versailles; and five grandchildren.
