    Adriana Maria Oliviero and Jamie LeScott Wilkerson, along with their parents, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

    The bride-to-be, a native of Boston, attended Western Kentucky University. She is currently employed by Swope Nissan as a finance manager.

    The prospective groom is a graduate of WKU with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is continuing his education at Phoenix University and is currently employed at the Bowling Green Medical Center as an RN in the ICU unit.

    Roger and Lisa Wilson of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Wilson to John Sprinkle, son of Gwen Butler of Elizabethtown.

    The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Central Hardin High School and is a stay-at-home mother.

    The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Central Hardin High School and is employed by Kroger.

    The wedding is at 2 p.m., Aug. 15, 2009, at House of Prayer Lutheran Church with a reception to follow at 3:30 p.m. at Hardin County Fair Squares.

    FORT KNOX— The transition of the U.S. Army Armor Center has ramifications that extend beyond the confines of its current home at Fort Knox and its future home at Fort Benning, Ga.

    A foreign contingent will be moving as part of the center’s relocation, which serves various roles for their armies and the U.S. Army alike.

  • Parents announce birth of Braxton


    Keziah Reid and Nick McGill, both of Radcliff, announce the birth of a son, Braxton Lane McGill, on June 10, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 inches long.

    Maternal grandparents are Tom Reid of Muldraugh and Karen Moran of Radcliff. Paternal grandparents are Melanie and Melvin Boggs of Radcliff and Chris McGill of Louisville.

    Great-grandmothers are Sang Hie Reid and Martha Ford.

    Michael and Martina Lydy of Laabar, Germany announce the birth of a daughter, Katja Elaine Lydy, on March 13, 2009, in Laabar. She weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces.

    Katja has a sister, Jennifer Anna Lydy.

    Grandparents are Linda Lydy and Larry Evans of Elizabethtown.

    Great-grandmother is Dolores Myers of Warren, Mich.

    Bob and Cheryl Nagle of Rineyville announce the birth of a grandson, Xavier Robert Livers on July 24, 2009. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long.
