RADCLIFF — Adrian Bambini said he loves chickweed.
Or he would, that is, if it didn’t grow in his yard.
The local man keeps a sign for this weed/wildflower — along with dozens of other blossoming plants — in the trunk of his Taurus. When they bloom along trails at Saunders Springs Nature Preserve, he plants the appropriate marker next to the flower. “I will in the next week be putting up a lot of signs,” he said.
Besides helping tend to the park, he plans to lead a wildflower walk Saturday at Fort Duffield in West Point.
