    On Oct. 4 the Tiger Den from Pack 221 took a hike at Saunders Springs Nature Preserve in Radcliff. The boys were able to observe various forms of wildlife and look at native foliage.

    The Woman’s Club of Elizabethtown recently assisted with the “Shop and Share” project initiated by First Lady Jane Beshear at the Dolphin Drive Kroger. Items collected were taken to the Capitol and distributed from Frankfort to the domestic abuse centers in Kentucky.

    Thomas Carlton Bainbridge

    Thomas Carlton Bainbridge 57, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.

    Mr. Bainbridge was retired from the United States Army and was a former Eagle Scout.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Phyllis Bainbridge; and one brother, Ford Bainbridge.
