    Donna and Phoenix Chambers of Elizabethtown announce the birth of a sister, Julie Nicole Chambers, on Aug. 25, 2008. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 21 inches long.

    Parents are Robert and Roxanne Chambers of Elizabethtown.

    Grandparents are Robert Cody and Cindy Chambers, both of Palm Coast, Fla. Stepgrandparent is Nadia Cody of Palm Coast.

      Amy and Jason Perry of Elizabethtown announce the birth of a daughter, Elizabeth Claire Perry, on Sept. 1, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long. Grandparents are Carol and John Rizer and Betty and Roland Perry, all of Elizabethtown, and Bobby and Marylon Perkins of Cecilia. Great-grandmother is Margo Perry of Elizabethtown.

    Maternal grandparents are Bob and Judy Hubbard of Elizabethtown; and paternal grandparents are Joe and Sue Gomez of Hodgenville.

  • Moore addresses Hardin County GOP

    26th District Representative Tim Moore spoke to members of the Hardin County GOP Executive Committee at their regular monthly meeting on Jan. 12. Moore discussed the upcoming legislative session, emphasizing that he encourages constituents in the 26th District to contact him regarding any matters they wish to address about the 2009 legislative session.
