We live in a world of quick-fixes. New presidents are elected to rapidly change America’s economy, trucks are given extra horsepower to pull bigger loads faster and microwaves are perfected for “the person on the go.”
In truth, not many quick fixes work.
Obama will not be able to get the United States out of trillions of dollars of debt, a Ford F-550 never will be able to pull unlimited weight and you can’t microwave a raw T-bone steak.
Is it any different in sports?
