    It looks like the sexual harassment lawsuit against the Kentucky Legislative Research Council has been settled out of court. Neither side is talking and little more will be known as the depositions have been sealed. All it took was our tax money. That’s right folks, our tax money.

  • Van carrying 10 children struck en route to lunch

    A van transporting 10 children from a day care was involved in a three vehicle crash on U.S. 62 Tuesday in Elizabethtown.

    At 12:25 p.m., Elizabethtown Police responded to an injury accident at the intersection of U.S. 62 and Kentucky Drive.

  • Hardinsburg man flown from scene of single-vehicle crash

    A Hardinsburg man is in serious condition at a Louisville hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Hardinsburg Road Monday night.

    Matthew N. Marple, 42, was driving a white four-wheel drive truck in the 14000 block of Hardinsburg Road when the crash occurred.

  • Two plead guilty to Glendale bank robbery

    Two men pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to robbing the West Point Bank in Glendale of nearly $9,000 last December.

    Leonard Duane Sisk, 54, of Cecilia, and Justin Matthew Collinge, 32, of Leitchfield, pleaded guilty to the Dec. 23, 2014 robbery. They were arrested Jan. 5.
