Time for GOP to unite
If there is one thing most Republicans, many Democrats and independents can agree on is they want a change in the White House. The question now remains whether all members of the GOP will face reality, end divisiveness and bring an end to the race for 1,144 delegates. Mitt Romney has amassed more delegates than all of his opponents totals combined, more than twice the delegates of his closest opponent, and won more than twice the number of states and territories of his closest opponent.

Make ID part of ‘get-out-the-vote’ effort
It is a hame that politics are so nasty and appalling now.
It is not a voter-suppression bill that is making a lot of news on the airwaves and in the newspapers. The bills will not stop people from voting, but will try to keep the right people voting.
When the Democrats wanted people to vote in the 2008 election, they got them out to vote. They could use the same type of turnout to get more people to do the right thing and get a proper identification with a picture to stop voter fraud.

It’s a spending problem
I recently read “Not in Our Best Interests,” a March 9 letter to the editor. Being able to debate and voice one’s opinion is uniquely American and I appreciate the writer’s views. However, I disagree with his assessment.
Washington does not have a tax problem. It has a spending problem.

Why voting ID really matters
It seems there a few out there who deny that voting fraud really exists and how requiring photo identification prevents fraud at the polls. But to try to deny there is a problem by claiming a GOP candidate broke the rules only goes to prove my point. Again, anyone with a Internet connection, a few spare minutes and an open mind can do their own homework. So why is this so much more common on the left as opposed to the republicans?
