Conflicts, conflicts everywhere
The real conflict of interest in the Radcliff City Council is Pastor Edward Palmer who ran for council without telling voters he is a local church pastor and should have recused himself from the “alcohol” discussions based on his own agenda to impede all progress on alcohol-related issues.
It is surprising to me the title of reverend or pastor has not been attached to Palmer in any of the articles I have read in this paper.
This is why our forefathers chose to separate the church from the state.

on unification bill
Congratulations and thanks go out to our State Reps. Jimmie Lee and Tim Moore and also to our State Sen. Dennis Parrett for their quick work on trying to get the laws cleared up on the unification process. Unclear or vague laws can create a lot of confusion and keep us from doing what is best for our city and state.

Welcome Home spirit shines
Duke Brigade soldiers all are back at Fort Knox. The communities surrounding Fort Knox are excited about their safe return and the excellent job they did for our country while deployed.
The Military Partnership Council of the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce was fortunate to be able to play a part in organizing a Welcome Home process that brought soldiers into the homes of appreciative residents for the holidays.
