Support makes productions possible

Challengers unimpressive at Fancy Farm
Republican Jamie Comer is a friend of agriculture and deserves to be elected as agriculture commissioner, but the other folks on the GOP roster are having a hard time connecting with voters and it showed at the 131st Fancy Farm picnic in Graves County.

I was glad to see a man stand up against the Y.E.S. alcohol expansion initiative. I don’t know Will Stolz personally, and Wednesday this week is the first time I’ve seen his name, but I applaud his efforts to urge Hardin County residents and specifically those who call themselves Christians to vote against Y.E.S. I am against Y.E.S. because it coolly suggests anything that brings economic success to Hardin County is worthy of a yes vote.

Shame on today’s economy
Shame on us for electing Mitch McConnell. Let’s not raise taxes on the rich, just cut Medicaid and Social Security. We, the people who can read, write and use computers, should let the government and states know we are mad and we aren’t taking it anymore. It is time to take back America. Let’s start with NAFTA. It is from our Clinton days. Stop sending jobs to other countries. Give people jobs so they can make a decent living.
