    Stop the slaughter

    Does anyone else fid it ironic that liberals who defend the right for a woman to kill her child at any stage of pregnancy are the greatest proponents of gun control?

    Eighteen precent of all pregnancies in the U.S. end in abortion, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Approximately 55 million babies have been aborted since the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973. Obamacare will force all taxpayers to pay for this slaughter.

    I never thought much about Santa smoking a pipe in Clement Moore’s 1823 poem, “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” but now that a new edition of the poem has taken his pipe away, I think I miss it.

    Would somebody please give Santa his pipe back? I don’t want him rummaging through my cabinets, frantically trying to find some tobacco for a post sugar-cookie nicotine fix.
