Abraham Lincoln impersonator Jim Sayre will present “I, Too, Am a Kentuckian” at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Barr Memorial Library on Fort Knox.
Sayre will be addressing the crowd and answering questions as the 16th president. He’s a retired transportation manager from Lawrenceburg and said his role as an impersonator grew out of his post-Army decision to stop shaving.
A new National Park Service report shows that 241,264 visitors to Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park in 2014 spent $13 million in communities near the park. That spending is credited with supporting 227 jobs.
A much-anticipated rematch Tuesday night turned into a mismatch.
