BOWLING GREEN – Central Hardin freshman Katie Gray finished tied for 67th at the KHSAA State Tournament Wednesday at Bowling Green Country Club.

Gray shot 84-93 to finish at 177.

Junior Paige Gray tied for 70th after carding 88-90 to shoot 178.

The boys tournament runs today and Saturday.


CENTRAL HARDIN SWEEPS BOWLING GREEN. The host Lady Bruins won its final regular-season home match and notched its second straight match win Thursday against Bowling Green.

The Lady Bruins, 25-7 on the year, won the opening game 25-18 and then made it 2-0 with a 25-23 win. In third set, the Lady Bruins managed to take a back-and-forth final set, 31-29.

Central Hardin returns to action Tuesday at Thomas Nelson.

BETHLEHEM DEF. NORTH HARDIN 25-10, 25-23, 25-17. Visiting North Hardin saw its two-match winning streak ended with a straight-set decision Thursday night at Bardstown Bethlehem.

The Lady Trojans, 12-15, dropped the first set, 25-10, and then put up more of a fight with a 25-23 loss in the second set before falling in third set.

North Hardin is at home Tuesday night against Bardstown.
